CSTC - HRSS Payroll GL Team Lead

RESPOSIBILITIES
  • Accountable for processing, checking and signing off on end to end payroll GL and other related transactions for all legal vehicles administered by HRSS Dalian Service Center covering all business segments and all types of employees.
  • Responsible for the security and confidentiality of sensitive data that will be handled.
  • Responsible and accountable for general ledger and reconciliation along with responding to any Finance related queries as well as any proofing related queries. Liaises with our payroll vendor on special payroll instructions and other related requests of our stakeholders
  • Responsible for keeping up to date knowledge on key HR and GL applications required to assist in processing payroll GL.
  • Helps in liaising with HR, Business Units Employees, Direct Managers and Management on payroll inquiries.
  • Administers and supervises direct reports within the Payroll Team.
  • Calls daily huddles for the team to discuss daily operations outcome.
  • Sets one on one or catch up meeting with direct reports and or Payroll team.
  • Recommends rewards for the team members.
  • Provides feedback to the Payroll Manager.
  • Makes timely and proper escalations for big issues, concerns and incidents.
  • Provides support for projects as required such as continual improvement and standardization of payroll operations and systems.
  • Provides support and help needed by the team on ad-hoc requests.
  • Ensures the operating manual procedures are reviewed and updated yearly and when necessary.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement within the HRSS team.
  • Prepares the monthly Payroll Close Report.
  • Coordinates monthly with Finance, HR and other Business Units involved in the sales incentives plan reconciliation.
  • Encourages the team in participating and giving support in the different re-engineering and innovation programs.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Comprehensive and working knowledge of payroll systems
  • Demonstrates payroll management experience.
  • Knowledgeable in various general ledger and sub ledger system/s.
  • Minimum 3~ 5 years GL and/or proofing related work experience.
  • Flexible and team-oriented, willing to learn and share experience with other team members
  • Customer service focus.
  • Demonstrates team leadership ability.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge on advance excel and basic Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Understanding of payroll legislation and processes such as tax annualization and statutory contributions.
  • Business process improvement experience.
  • Control conscious.

CSTC - Cash and Trade Proc Manager (Korean & English)

RESPOSIBILITIES
  • On a daily basis, for all the clients they support, they are review STARS cases aging, to insure that all are resolved ahead of SLA.  If not, engage the country CSO to get it resolved, and insure the client expectations are being proactively managed.
  • To the extent possible, they should be doing the same for processing across the core products.
  • They should develop an inventory of all products these clients us, and who across the countries supports them from a line mgmt perspective and/or client engagement perspective.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree holder
  • Working experience in banking service is preferred
  • Analytical/thought process driven
  • Ability to grasp diverse systems and software
  • Ability to work with customers across diverse locations
  • Adaptable to change and to work under pressure and dateline
  • Customer focused, enthusiastic and flexible ,Should be open to working staggered hour/shift/ over weekend and on public holidays
  • Strong proven written and verbal communication capabilities.   These roles will be working wide internally and with clients.
  • Able to handle complex client engagements.  Either they already have it, or they have exhibited these skills in another role.
  • Ownership.  Once engaged internally or externally, they need to be relentless with owning the issue thru resolution, either buy getting it done themselves, or more ideally, by getting whomever might actually own the issue, to get it done.
  • Persuasion.  Related to the above.
  • Ability to work higher levels in the client organization and or within Citi .  If we are looking at C11/C12 levels, they will be interacting with C13 - C16 levels.
  • They need to have a passion/drive, for working the network, and breaking down barriers.
  • TTS CO geographic, product knowledge, and Ops knowledge.  They should all have as much as possible.
